Some of you may have noticed that new users were not allowed to register for accounts at LensChat for a while. We were receiving hundreds of robot user registrations that were just trying to spam the site and never logged in.

We have now implemented a system that will require Account Activation (the link will be sent via email) and then another email will be sent allowing you to set up a password after activation.

That also means that when you register for an account, you must use a valid email address so you can receive those confirmations. This is also useful so you can receive Password Reset instructions if you ever forget your password in the future.
